I <Your Name> of Class <Your Class> wish you all a very Happy Republic Day and also thank my teacher for giving me this great opportunity to speak before you all on this auspicious occasion.
As you all know that we are celebrating the 71st Republic Day in 2020 and it gives me immense pleasure that we are celebrating this occasion remembering our great personalities who sacrificed their lives for our freedom so that we can live in an independent country.
It was the same day in the year 1950 when our own constitution came into force making India a Democratic, Republic and a Sovereign nation. Every year we commemorate this great day to pay tribute to the great dignitaries involved in the framing of our constitution. We thank them for their hard work, dedication and many sleepless nights which helped us to get our own constitution. It was because of the hard work of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the members of the Constitution Drafting Committee whose utter dedication helped our country to get our very own constitution.
The independent country in which we live today was brought by immense struggle, sacrifices and great leadership of our freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Chandrasekhar Azad, Subhas Chandra Bose and many more. They were the great personalities who did not gave a second thought on becoming the part of freedom struggle and left their family and luxurious life so that we could take breath in an independent country.
Today we also see that our young generation has very less knowledge about India's great history and culture and it is our responsibility that we all introduce them with our great tradition, culture and history. We as the young generation should also work hard to make our country developed and showcase the world our great culture of Unity in Diversity.
Before I conclude, I would like to say that our great leaders have sacrificed their life for India's freedom and it is everyone's responsibility to preserve it and make our country one of the best in the world. The time has come when we have to forget our personal grudges and unite together to work for our nation towards the path of development, equality and peace.
I once again wish you all a very Happy Republic Day.
